ANALYSIS OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Introduction. In the modern realities of the Ukrainian economy, the role of managerial capital has undergone fundamental changes. Management development has ceased to be an internal matter of companies, becoming a strategic factor in the viability of the entire economic system in conditions of continuous crises. Effective management today is the key to business survival and rational allocation of resources. Accordingly, high-quality managerial education has turned from a career asset into a basic requirement for leaders working in a zone of high uncertainty. Modern educational trends in Ukraine demonstrate a departure from theoretical models of stable markets in favour of the practices of anti-crisis management, risk management and digitalization, which forms a new generation of adaptive managers.

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to determine the content of training for bachelors in management, analyze the market for educational services in this area by determining the dynamics of accreditation of educational and professional programs of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education.

Materials and methods. The materials of the study are: reports and a list of accreditation cases of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education; publications of researchers on labor market trends, personnel shortages and managerial competencies. To achieve the goal, the methods of system analysis and theoretical generalization (in the process of grouping information), statistical analysis (in the study of trends in accreditation of educational programs in management) were used.

Results. The labour market notes a high level of demand for managers of various directions. In addition, the modern requirement for constant personal self-development, acquisition of interdisciplinary skills for career growth is actualized at the middle and higher levels of management of the organization. The proposals of Ukrainian higher education institutions for training in educational and professional programs in the specialty of Management meet the needs of employers in acquiring both classical managerial education and industry-specific management features. Among the bachelor's level educational and professional programs applied for accreditation by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, basic management programs prevail. From a geographical point of view, most higher education institutions that have accredited educational programs "Management" are located in Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa. An analysis of the frequency of involvement in programs of certain mandatory educational components allowed us to state that a bachelor of management acquires language and digital competencies, professional knowledge in economics, finance, management analysis, marketing, management fundamentals, and develops management decision-making skills in functional areas of management (strategic, innovative, logistical, HR, etc.).

Discussion. Further growth in demand for management education is predicted, which is due to the aggravation of the shortage of qualified personnel as a systemic challenge for the modern economy. Priority vectors for the transformation of educational programs in the field of management include: dualization of training (synergy of theoretical training and practical testing of management decisions directly at the enterprise level); digital competence; reorientation to the sustainability paradigm (ensuring business continuity and preserving the mental capital of personnel), as well as global mobility as a tool for disseminating best practices.
