MODERN APPROACHES TO REGIONAL ENTREPRENEURIAL POTENTIAL MANAGEMENT: SOCIO-ECONOMIC ASPECT

Abstract

Introduction. Socio-economic transformations, digitalization and the need to increase the competitiveness of regions actualize the need to rethink approaches to managing entrepreneurial potential.

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to substantiate modern approaches to managing regional entrepreneurial potential and determine their role in ensuring the socio-economic development of regions in the context of the transformation of the economic environment.

Materials and methods of research. The information base of the study was the scientific works of scientists on the problems of managing regional development and entrepreneurial potential, the functioning of the entrepreneurial environment in the regions. The theoretical and methodological basis of the work is the provisions of modern economic theory, the concept of regional development and approaches to strategic management. General scientific methods of cognition were used, in particular theoretical generalization; analysis and synthesis; comparative analysis; logical generalization.

Results. The study determined that modern approaches to managing regional entrepreneurial potential are based on the integration of institutional, innovative, socially-oriented and ecosystem development mechanisms. The determining factor in the modernization of management approaches is socio-economic challenges that affect the level of adaptability of economic systems, stimulation of entrepreneurial activity and ensuring the long-term competitiveness of regions.

The main challenges in the development of entrepreneurship include: military challenges for regional development, instability of the institutional environment, limited access to financial resources, the need to develop human resources and technological innovation; the complexity of integration into global markets, and the insufficient level of development of business ecosystems.

Increasing the efficiency of entrepreneurial potential management involves the implementation of a coordinated system of institutional, financial, and organizational measures aimed at stabilizing regulatory policy, investment support, innovation and digital transformation, infrastructure and education development, export and international cooperation stimulation, and the introduction of modern management technologies.

Prospects. Further research should be aimed at forming a comprehensive system for managing regional entrepreneurial potential to ensure sustainable socio-economic development of regions. A promising direction is the formation of adaptive management models that combine strategic planning, modern monitoring tools, and mechanisms of public-private partnership in the context of post-war recovery.
