Requirements for design and procedure for submitting publications

Publication of an Article in the Journal "Economic Paradigm"

Scientific articles must address a relevant topic, contain the results of independent research, and be formatted in accordance with the established requirements.

Procedure for submitting publications:

1. Acceptance of the article for publication:

Materials can be submitted to the editorial board in one of the following ways:

a) Submission by email: articles should be sent in *.doc (*.docx) format to: editor@inter-nauka.com.

b) Submission via the journal's website: the author must Log In or Register in the OJS system and use the "Make a Submission" function.

After receiving the article, the editorial board evaluates whether it meets the requirements and sends it for peer review.

2. Peer review of the article: the article undergoes a scientific peer review process in accordance with the peer review policy. After that, the author receives feedback, which may include information on acceptance of the article, suggestions for revision, or rejection of the article. Please also check your spam folder.

3. Publication of an article on the journal's website takes place after the completion of academic integrity screening, editorial assessment, independent peer review, acceptance for publication, and fulfillment of all publishing requirements by the author(s). Following the acceptance of the article for publication and provided that all required publishing requirements have been fulfilled by the author(s), the article will be published on the journal’s website no later than 20 working days from the date of the editorial decision accepting the article for publication.

11. CRediT Author Contributions Statement

Starting from Issue No. 2 (106) of 2026, all manuscripts must include a separate “CRediT Author Contributions Statement”, prepared in accordance with the international Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT).

The purpose of using CRediT is to ensure transparency of authorship, accurate representation of each author's contribution, and prevention of unjustified inclusion or exclusion of individuals from the list of authors.

Authorship must be based solely on an individual's actual intellectual contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.

Individuals whose contributions do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section rather than included as authors.

Contributor Roles According to CRediT Taxonomy

Authors may use the following roles when preparing their statement:

  • Conceptualization;
  • Methodology;
  • Software;
  • Validation;
  • Formal Analysis;
  • Investigation;
  • Resources;
  • Data Curation;
  • Writing – Original Draft;
  • Writing – Review & Editing;
  • Visualization;
  • Supervision;
  • Project Administration;
  • Funding Acquisition.

Example

Ivanenko I.I.: Conceptualization, Methodology, Writing – Original Draft.

Petrenko P.P.: Data Curation, Formal Analysis, Visualization.

Sydorenko S.S.: Writing – Review & Editing, Supervision.

For a Single-Author Article

Ivanenko I.I.: Conceptualization, Methodology, Investigation, Formal Analysis, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing.

Equal Contribution

If two or more authors contributed equally to the research and manuscript preparation, this may be explicitly stated in the Author Contributions Statement.

Examples:

“Authors Ivanenko I.I. and Petrenko P.P. contributed equally to this research and publication.”

or

“All authors contributed equally to the conceptualization of the study, analysis of results, and preparation of the manuscript.”

In cases of equal contribution, authors must still specify their individual roles according to the CRediT Taxonomy.

12. Funding Statement

Starting from Issue No. 2 (106) of 2026, all manuscripts must include a separate section entitled “Funding Statement.”

The statement should specify the source(s) of research funding, grant number (if applicable), project title, and the organization or institution that provided financial support.

If the research was funded

The author(s) should indicate:

  • the name of the funding organization or institution;
  • the grant, project, or contract number (if applicable);
  • the name of the research program or project (if applicable).

Example 3

“This research was funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme (Project No. XXXXXXX).”

If no external funding was received

Example

“The author(s) declare that this research received no specific funding from any governmental, public, commercial, or non-profit organizations.”

or

“This research was conducted without external financial support.”

If only some authors received funding

The authors should clearly indicate which author(s) received funding and under which project.

Example

“Author Ivanenko I.I. received financial support under Project No. XXXXXXX. The remaining authors received no specific funding for this research.”

Role of the Funding Organization

Where funding was provided, the authors should disclose the role of the funding organization in the research.

Example

“The funding organization had no role in the study design, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, or the decision to publish.”

13. Artificial Intelligence Disclosure Statement

Starting from Issue No. 6 (110) of 2026, all manuscripts submitted to the journal must include a separate section entitled “Artificial Intelligence Disclosure Statement.”

If AI tools were used

The author(s) should specify:

  • the name of the AI tool used (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grammarly, DeepL, etc.);
  • the purpose and manner of its use during manuscript preparation;
  • confirmation that the generated content was reviewed and edited by the authors;
  • confirmation that the authors take full responsibility for the content of the manuscript, the accuracy of the data, conclusions, and references.

Example:

“During the preparation of this manuscript, the authors used ChatGPT for language editing and stylistic improvement of certain parts of the text. All generated content was reviewed and verified by the authors. The authors take full responsibility for the content of the article.”

If AI tools were not used

The author(s) should state:

“No artificial intelligence tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript.”
