FORMATION OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE OF YOUNGER SCHOOL STUDENTS

The article examines the issue of the peculiarities of the formation of healthy lifestyle skills in students of lower grades. The formation of a healthy lifestyle is the subject of scientific interest of a wide range of modern domestic and foreign scientists, requiring specification within the limits of our scientific intelligence. The importance of such research is confirmed by numerous state documents, laws, resolutions and decrees, which determine the formation of the student’s skills and abilities for the formation, preservation and strengthening of health as one of the priority tasks of a modern domestic secondary school. Due attention is paid to the issue of forming a culture of health and a healthy lifestyle, preserving and strengthening the health of younger schoolchildren and their harmonious development. The main tasks of the primary school have been defined, regarding the formation of a healthy lifestyle of younger schoolchildren, this is the formation of a system of knowledge about health and a healthy lifestyle of students; formation of students’ need for health and conscious attitude towards it; children’s recovery; disease prevention; formation of moral culture, self-knowledge, abilities and skills for physical and moral self-improvement; teach to use the acquired knowledge in everyday life. Special attention is focused on the issue of creating optimal conditions that contribute to more effective educational work, regarding the formation of healthy lifestyle skills of elementary school students. The problem of the eacher’s role in shaping the health and healthy lifestyle of schoolchildren is revealed. Attention is focused on the fact that the teacher must not only solve health problems, plan and use pedagogical tools that are necessary for the formation of knowledge and skills, but also stimulate students by their own example to a healthy lifestyle.
