THE ORGANIZATION OF THE SYSTEM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT FOR A CHILD WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of organizing psychological and pedagogical support of a child with special educational needs in the conditions of inclusive education. The author found out that the organization of an inclusive educational environment for children with special educational needs is an individual flexible system that involves not only adapting the environment, but also establishing the interaction between all participants in the inclusive educational process, improving the professional competence of teachers, etc. The article states that the urgency of the functioning of an inclusive educational environment in institutions of general secondary education is provided by special pedagogical conditions: the creation of an inclusive educational space; the organization of a system of psychological and pedagogical support for a child with special educational needs; professional development of teaching staff in inclusive education. Based on the results of analytical investigations, the article states that the effective implementation of the process of psychological and pedagogical support for children with special educational needs in general secondary education institutions primarily involves: 1) a fundamentally new interaction and real cooperation of specialists from various professional fields (teachers, teacher assistants, practical psychologists, social pedagogue, special education teacher, parents, social workers, medical workers), involved in educational inclusion; 2) special training of teaching staff in the field of educational inclusion; 3) mastering by teachers of special knowledge, methods and technologies of teaching children with special educational needs; 4) the development of mechanisms of real interaction of team members of psychological and pedagogical support. The author emphasizes the need for systematic and purposeful implementation of inclusive education, in particular, proper training of relevant specialists, who in their professional activities will be guided by modern scientific understanding of the psychological and pedagogical features of children with special educational needs.
