The article deals with the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions on the grounds of the student-centered approach. Well-organized by the teacher subject-subject cooperation based on the student-centered approach with the use of interactive teaching methods contributed to improving the quality of education. Applying the student-centered approach in the educational process, the focus is shifted from teaching to studying when the student becomes a key figure, is a full-fledged subject of the educational cooperation, and takes an active part in the activity of a higher education institution. The peculiarities of the qualitative educational process based on the student-centered approach include: declaring the student to be a key figure of the educational space of a higher education institution and a main customer of qualitative educational services; increasing the level of activeness, motivation, professional focus of students; diversification of the teacher’s educational functions, changing their roles in the educational process; coherence and relationship between learning and teaching; use of digital technologies and interactive teaching methods; systematic monitoring of the quality of the educational process. The student-centered educational process becomes a significant factor of ensuring the quality of education in the context of providing qualitative educational service. When the students realize the responsibility for their learning; create their own educational trajectory aimed at getting the desired result; understand the value of education for their further professional growth and development, the orientation on the constructive dialogue and productive cooperation with the teachers creates a new paradigm of the quality of the educational process as cooperated of interested parties.
