Diamond Open Access Policy
The scientific journal “Humanitarian Forum” follows the principles of open science and provides full and free access to the results of scientific research.
The journal operates under the Diamond Open Access model, according to which all scientific articles are published in open access without charging authors any fees for submission, peer review, or publication of manuscripts (Article Processing Charge, APC). All materials of the journal are freely available for reading, downloading, copying, distribution, and use, provided that proper citation of the source is given.
Key principles of the Diamond Open Access policy
Open access to scientific materials.
All articles of the journal are published in open access on the official website of the journal immediately after publication. Users are allowed to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, or use the materials of the journal for scientific, educational, and research purposes.
No publication fees.
The journal does not charge fees for submission, peer review, or publication of articles. Manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are carried out free of charge for authors.
Academic independence.
Editorial decisions regarding acceptance or rejection of manuscripts are made solely on the basis of scientific quality, relevance of the research, compliance with the journal’s scope, and the results of independent peer review. The absence of publication fees ensures the independence of editorial decisions from financial factors.
Advantages of the Diamond Open Access model
The use of the Diamond Open Access model allows:
- to ensure maximum accessibility of scientific research results;
