Editorial meeting
Publication of an Article in the Journal Humanitarian Forum
1. Submission of the manuscript: Manuscripts should be submitted to the Editorial Office by e-mail in *.doc (*.docx) format to: editor@inter-nauka.com. After submission, the Editorial Office evaluates the manuscript for compliance with the journal's requirements and sends it for peer review.
2. Peer review: Each manuscript undergoes scientific peer review in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Policy. Following the review process, the author receives an editorial decision, which may include acceptance, requests for revision, or rejection of the manuscript. Please also check your spam folder.
3. Publication on the journal website takes place after the successful completion of plagiarism screening, editorial assessment, independent peer review, editorial acceptance, and fulfillment of all publication requirements by the authors. Provided that all stages of the editorial process are successfully completed, the article will be published on the journal's website within no later than 20 working days.
If the manuscript successfully completes all stages of the editorial process, including plagiarism screening, editorial assessment, independent peer review, editorial acceptance, and compliance with all publication requirements, the Article Processing Charge (APC) is as follows:
• UAH 2,400.00 (up to 15 pages inclusive). Each additional page is charged separately at UAH 50 per page — for authors affiliated with Ukrainian higher education institutions and/or research institutions;
• USD 200.00 — for authors who are not affiliated with Ukrainian higher education institutions and/or research institutions.
The Editorial Office provides free publication of single-author manuscripts (without co-authors) prepared by doctoral (PhD) students enrolled in state-funded doctoral programs, regardless of their higher education institution, provided that the submitted manuscript complies with the journal's requirements, adheres to the principles of academic integrity, and successfully passes the peer-review process. Together with the manuscript, doctoral (PhD) students studying under state-funded programs must submit an official certificate issued by the doctoral studies office confirming their enrollment status. The certificate must be duly completed, signed by the head of the doctoral studies office, and certified with the official seal of the relevant structural unit.
Publication Fee Policy
The journal Humanitarian Forum adheres to the principles of Open Science and provides immediate open access to all published materials.
All articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) 4.0 license, ensuring unrestricted access to scholarly content.
The journal operates under the Gold Open Access model, whereby the full text of all published articles is freely available for reading, downloading, copying, distribution, and reuse, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original source.
Open access is supported through the Article Processing Charge (APC), which may be paid by the author, the author's institution, or a third-party research funder.
1. General Principles
The journal follows the recommendations of the Fair Open Access Alliance regarding transparent publication fees and complies with Principle 5 of Plan S.
The Article Processing Charge is used exclusively to cover publication-related services, including editorial and technical manuscript processing, typesetting, editorial system administration, DOI registration, website maintenance, and long-term digital archiving.
Payment of the APC or any additional services does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts undergo independent peer review, and publication decisions are based solely on scientific quality and the manuscript's relevance to the journal's scope.
2. Payment Procedure
Manuscript submission and peer review are free of charge.
The Article Processing Charge is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
Payment instructions are sent to the corresponding author only after a positive editorial decision has been made.
After payment, the author should send a copy of the payment confirmation to the Editorial Office by e-mail.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds are granted only in exceptional circumstances that make publication impossible after completion of the editorial process. The APC is non-refundable in cases where the manuscript is withdrawn by the authors, retracted, corrected by the Editorial Office, or when publication is prevented by force majeure or other circumstances beyond the control of the Editorial Office.
